WildTribe

The birth of WildTribe has been a long one, informed by the needs of the original children Wednesday NatureSchool children who were the first to join WildTime, and our desire to continue to challenge them as they enter into their tween and teen years.
WildTribe continues to have a theme-based approach familiar from NatureSchool which will always relate to nature and the environment. There is plenty of play and a mixture of whole group and small group activities, the familiar mix of free play, structured play and workshops (of the tool-
based variety and practical workshops with a more traditional learning outcome).

On occasion we invite experts to work with the children (acknowledging that others may be able to enrich themes in a different way to the regular team) and institute field trips which relate to and enhance each half term’s theme.

At WildTribe we introduce recognised award schemes for your child to work towards. They will have the opportunity to develop some responsibility and leadership skills, collecting evidence to work through various awards. Workshops become more challenging to meet the children's growing intellectual, philosophical and pastoral needs, and we will begin to support children in developing a deeper understanding of the subject areas we have always covered (the Sciences and Geography in particular) taking aspects of the KS3 & 4 learning outcomes as a guide.

We will aim to deliver learning opportunities which will align with GCSE exam and coursework requirements in the areas that relate to WildTime so that your child can work towards GCSEs if this is yours and their desire.

WildTribe runs of a Tuesday or Wednesday
